Environmental performance and commitment to continuous improvement
In ORBIS TECHNOLOGÍA ELÉCTRICA, we maintain an Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001, aimed at the continuous improvement of our environmental performance and compliance with legal requirements and other applicable commitments.
As a result of the periodic monitoring and evaluation of our environmental aspects, we can highlight that the organization maintains an effective control of its processes, which allows us to identify risks, opportunities for improvement and define actions aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of our activities.
The organisation also periodically establishes environmental objectives and associated action plans, the degree of compliance with which is monitored and reviewed within the Environmental Management System. This approach allows us to promote continuous improvement, promote a more efficient use of resources and strengthen the prevention of environmental impacts arising from our activity.
The analysis of the main environmental indicators reflects a controlled evolution and consistent with our activity. In particular:
- Energy consumption remains stable, with adjustments depending on production levels and a progressive improvement in terms of efficiency.
- Waste management is carried out systematically, through its adequate segregation by typologies (packages, hazardous waste, WEEE, metals, etc.) and its delivery to authorized managers.
- Compliance with applicable environmental regulations is ensured through regular monitoring.
This approach allows us to ensure the control of our most significant environmental aspects and to advance in the reduction of impacts associated with our activity.
Likewise, the integrated monitoring of indicators, environmental objectives, action plans and operational controls allows us to evaluate in a global way the effectiveness of the implemented actions, consolidating a system aimed at continuous improvement and environmental protection.
